Viewing your disk space usage in cPanel

To help you keep track of the usage for your account, cPanel has a handy Disk Space Usage tool. This breaks down the usage into departments to help you manage your space effectively.
The different categories are as follows:
  • files in home directory
  • files in hidden subdirectories
  • etc/
  • mail/
  • public_ftp/
  • public_html/
  • ssl/
  • tmp/
  • MySQL
  • Mailing Lists
These categories can be further broken down to seperate mailboxes and folders, giving you complete peace of mind about the space that you are using.

If you are unsure about any of the usage listed for your account, please submit a support ticket and our technical team will be happy to help.
